Summer 2008
Nita Butler made this doll for me, she was my swap partner on Glitter Town Dollys. It turned out we both love yo yos, so I made the doll into a necklace. Used the small Clover quick yo yo maker.
The tee shirt I got at a bazaar for fifty cents, I added the pink yo yo to it.

It's so hot and sticky I think I'll just make yo-yos. June 28, 2008 I made the little bag from yo-yos, the third week of August |
If you can't bring yourself to throw away a scrap of material you will understand this doll.

Finished!
I bought the two patterns at Pieces Quilt Shop in Renton, Washington. The doll on the left is the Retro Angel, I left off the wings because I thought she was magical enough. On the right is a doll from the Miniature Victorian and Pierrot pattern.

This pattern adapted from one on Celt's Vintage Crochet site Instead of DMC size 8, South Maid Size 10 and steel crochet hook 5 was used. This is a doll bought at Lot-Less, it is 7 inches high. |

Chess USATE 2007
I was in Parsippany the past weekend playing in the US Amateur Team East chess event. Great fun, got to see people I haven't seen in a long time. I made this pin for the event. Reassembler has a more detailed blog about this event.
