Another patchwork bag

Received this notice.  I sent an email to the id asking what the difference was between fiber arts, mixed media and crafts.  I also asked who is the the Visual Arts Committee.  These distinctions seem arbitrary to me.

May 2, Holocaust Remembrance
This alcohol ink work I made in memory of Lori Gilbert Kaye who lost her life in the shooting at the Poway Synagogue.  The chief rabbi of that congregation said that the way to react to darkness is with light.

Altered Art Circus





I didn't get to go to Art Opera, so I ordered Lisa Kettell's book, Altered Art Circus and some pieces from one of her projects so I could vicariously participate in the fun.
