I learned about Chawne Kimber from an article in Scientific American.  She is a mathematician and a quilter.  This is her blog.
Jay Hart did a tutorial on making a handkerchief doll.
Lisa Pay shows how to do the back stab stitch
       I was reading instructions for a doll pattern and at one point this stitch was mentioned.  I thought this was a good video.  She demonstrates its usefulness in making toy animals.

July - August 2018

Murphy's law was in full force. This was my third try to film this.I took part in a chicken swap and I made a chicken from a Tone Finnanger pattern and a chicken bag from an elinor peace bailey pattern
Sherry Staton sent me the dress with a chicken pattern, the needlecase with the applique chicken and flowered material

April 25, 2018  At last I finished  the locker hooked basket for my dollies.  I embellished it with yo yos.  Spring was late, but at last it's here.


April 9, 2018 I made a pillowcase for the support pillow on my kitchen chair.
